Nienke Crijns and Anniek van Maaswaal crossed paths in 2023 and immediately found themselves on the same musical wavelength. Their shared passion led to the formation of a singer/songwriter duo called Wolf Heart Sisters. They deliberately chose this name:

“Wolf” symbolizes freedom, strength, and loyalty. Nienke and Anniek create their own movement with their own music and sound.

“Heart” represents love, trust, connection, and passion. This converges in their music, which grows with them and their life experiences. It also represents daring to live from the heart. For Nienke and Anniek, this means staying true to themselves and following their own path. Their message is therefore: “Open your courageous heart!”

“Sisters” is about trust; the soulmates Nienke and Anniek have found in each other.

Nienke and Anniek transform the insights, pain, challenges, and experiences that life brings us into beautiful, listening music. Their goal is to make the world a better place and let their listeners feel that we’re all human, with ups and downs. And that we’re all allowed to follow our own path in life!
